Case Studies
Each project begins with a situation to understand and a consequential choice to make. Our case studies show the evidence, insights, organizing ideas, decisions, implementation, and outcomes—not only the finished artifact.
As the creative component of Logan Acton’s doctoral research, this interactive exhibition translated historical inquiry into a propositional encoding system—testing how information might be made physical, self-indexing, and meaningfully visualized.
For the Texas Fashion Collection, Argot Nots developed a bilingual exhibition visual identity across environmental, printed, and digital encounters—carrying the curator’s established thesis about skilled labor into public-facing form.
PRINCIPAL-LED BY DESIGN
Argot Nots is a principal-led practice founded by Logan Hamilton Acton, PhD. With principal Anupama Gowda, PhD, a shared background in art, teaching, information design, metaphor, and emerging media shapes a method for listening closely, seeing relationships others miss, and making difficult ideas graspable.
